2009 INSTRUCTORS:

 

 

 

 NEW THIS YEAR : Basic Swing & Line Dancing

Wes & Sally Blair

Wes and Sally are country line/partner dance instructors in northern Vermont and have been instructing for 17 years.

They have taught line dancing in Canada, New York, and New Hampshire. They also teach 2-Step, waltz, swing and many, many couples dances. They teach beginner to more advance dances. They keep it easy and fun. Sally has choreographed many dances, both line and for couples.

This team will be perfect for the new line dancers, and for those wishing to begin learning how to line dance.Their fun style and easy learning choreography will be perfect for everyone!

THIS GIVES GROUP INSTRUCTORS A CHANCE TO INSTRUCT OTHER DANCERS AND SHARE THEIR OWN GROUP CHOREOGRAPHED ROUTINES!

World Champion Dancer and Choreographer:
Pepper Siquieros
 

Pepper is a dance instructor, choreographer, emcee and line dance competitor from the New Jersey shore area. She specializes in dance instruction with a focus on country and high-energy dance music, the newest developments in line dancing, dance performances and demonstrations. A member of the United Country and Western Dance Council (UCWDC), Pepper has placed in Worlds 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008 in Female Diamond Advanced Line, Diamond Renegade and Female Diamond Showcase Line. She is the 2008 World Champion in Non-Country Intermediate/Advanced Choreography and Diamond Renegade. She has also won many awards as a choreographer for her dances Badonkadonk, Groove Daddy, Bad Company, Shock'N, Jump Start and more. Her pattern partner dance, "Heart", won 2nd place at UCWDC Worlds in Nashville and her dances "Jump Start" and "Skaters Shuffle" have been used as competition dances. Her choreography has also been used for dance team competitions and demonstrations. In 2008, Pepper won her World Championships in Advanced Non-Country Choreography and Diamond Renegade. She has 18 years of experience teaching line dance at all levels and continues her own dance education in order to keep her skills current.

We are honoured to have her!! She will be a treat for all line dancers wishing to advance in there techique's, or learn competition style choreography!

Beth Anne McFadden

The McFadden Academy of Irish Dance was established in 2008 by Beth Anne McFadden T.C.R.G.  Beth Anne has been involved in Irish dancing since 1993.  She competed with the Mulvihill-Lynch School in Long Island, New York for 11 years.  During her dancing career she attended many regional, national and world competitions, sometimes ranking among the top dancers in the Eastern Region.  She graduated from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in English.       

Beth Anne became certified through An Coimisiun in Dublin, Ireland in March 2007 and spentق years teaching with the Hagen School of Irish Dance in Long Beach, New York. She is very excited to bring her knowledge and love of Irish dance to the children of Vermont.

Wes & Sally Blair will team up with the "Harvest Moon Line Dancers", and participate in our workshop demonstrations!

 

We also have the fantastic Step N' Time line dancers,

 

Pepper will show us a deomonstration or two,

 

Also demonstrations from the sponsoring group Green Mtn Cloggers,

 

And Irish step performed by Beth Anne McFadden Academy!
